  우정이라는 것은 어느 한쪽에서 강요한다고 해서 이루어지는 것은 아니다. 하지만 때로는 뜻밖의 급박한 상황이 그것을 가능하게 만들 때도 있다. 이 영화의 감독들은 자신의 영화를 우정에 관해 이야기하고 있는 어린이를 위한 애니메이션이라고 말한다. 재치 있는 구성, 경쾌한 리듬감, 간결한 설명 방식이 돋보이는 발랄한 애니메이션. (홍영주)

   

  매리 그레이스 Marygrace

  열한살의 매리 그레이스는 어느 날 갑자기 전신마비가 되어버렸다. 90일 동안 다섯 군데의 병원을 다니며 18차례의 수술을 받았음에도 전혀 나아지지가 않았다. 마침내 그녀는 극도로 신경질적으로 변해버렸고 그녀의 부모는 모든 것을 체념하고 그녀를 집으로 데려왔다. 그녀는 오로지 침대에 누워 지낼 수 밖에 없었다. 그런데 음악이 기적 같은 일을 만들어낸다. (홍영주)

   

  카데바 Cadaver

  카데바는 의학 교육 및 연구 목적의 해부용 시체를 가리키는 의학 용어로, 원래는 시체라는 뜻이다. 어느 전문대학의 보건계열 학과 학생들이 중국에서 실습 도중 카데바로 장난을 치고, 그 사진을 SNS에 올려 큰 파장이 일었던 적이 있다. 시신을 기증하시는 분들이 시신 기증까지 이르게 되는 과정과 유가족들이 겪게 되는 고뇌 및 아픔을 되새겨보고 시신 기증자들의 숭고한 뜻을 기리고자 한다. (연출의 변)

  상조회사에 근무하는 나카모토는 한 의뢰인으로부터 전혀 경험해보지 못한 독특한 방식의 장례식을 요청 받는다. 일생 동안 로봇 제작업종에 몸 담아 왔던 고인의 삶을 손자들에게 알려주고 그의 일생을 기리기 위해, 그에 관한 영화를 만들고 그것을 장례식이 열릴 때 상영해 달라는 것이다. 그 이상한 프로젝트를 수행하기 위해 그는 온갖 방법을 모두 동원한다. (홍영주)

  팸 브랜든(Pam Brandon)
  Pam Brandon is a producer and director for film, television and video. Her first short film to direct, <Marygrace>, was screened at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival. She's directed and produced commercials, videos, and award-winning tv series and a short film. She's also produced a second short film and over 100 Internet TV Webisodes. Having a creative passion, Pam began her carrer in fashion and got her start in production when she created and hosted a tv show to promote her fashion stylist skills and her clothing boutique. Loving production so much she sold her boutique and turned to production as her new career. Pam prefers to produce and/or direct projects that have an inspiring or uplifting message that impact people's lives. <br>Marygrace(2015)

  요시노 코헤이(Yoshino Kohei)
  Born in Okasa, Japan in 1979. Known also as an animator and a CG creator in the fields of music video and commercial film. His short films have been invited to the festivals all over the world. Tale of Night(2000) got Jury’s Special Award at Pia Film Festival, D.I.Y. Encouragement(2011) awarded Special Mention for Short film at Busan International Film Festival, and It’s Macaroni life(2013) was nominated for the competition at Sapporo International Short Film Festival.
