• 13살 소년 아디는 홀로 자신을 키워준 아버지의 말을 더 이상 듣지 않는다. 결국, 생활비와 인내심이 부족해진 아버지는 아디를 그의 삼촌 아마두에게 여름동안 맡기기로 결심했다. 아마두 삼촌과 그의 가족은 아주 먼 지중해의 반대쪽, 부르키나 파소에 살고 있다. 그곳에서 13살 아디는 어른이 되어야만 하지만, 혼자만 다른 생각을 품고 있는 아디는 휴가를 보내달라고 요청하는데.......

  
  

   

  
  

  Ady, a 13 years old boy, no longer listens to his father who raises him alone. The latter, running out of resources, decides to entrust Ady to his uncle Amadou for the summer. Uncle Amadou and his family live on the other side of the Mediterranean sea... in Burkina Faso!   1970년 출생. 1999년부터 영화를 연출, 제작, 배급하고 있으며 주로 서아프리카를 배경으로 하거나 주제로 한 다큐멘터리를 만들었다. 2000년에 부르키나 파소에 ‘시노메이드’라는 연합의 공동설립자로 사회인식을 바꾸는 시청각 툴을 만들고 널리 보급하기 위해 노력하고 있다. <월레이>는 그의 장편 데뷔작이다.

  
  

   

  
  

  Born in 1970, he has been directing, producing and distributing films since 1999, mainly documentaries made in West Africa or about the region. He co-founded Cinomade in 2000, an association in Burkino Faso aimed at creating and disseminating audio-visual awareness-raising tools.
