• 1970년 10월 몬트리올. 12살 소녀 마논의 가족은 무너지기 직전이다. 마논과 남동생 미미는 양부모에게 보내질 예정이어서 마논은 화가 머리끝까지 난다. 현재 정치 위기 상황에 영감을 얻은 마논은 계획을 짜고 한 여성을 인질로 잡은 뒤 자신의 미래를 결정할 권리를 요구하며 담판을 벌인다.

  뤽 피카드 Luc Picard

   

  In 2004, Picard found his voice in two new creative modes: screenwriting and directing. He directed and acted in his first feature film, l’Audition, which won numerous awards and was featured in film festivals across the world, including those in Marrakech, Annonay, St-Jean-de-Luz, Munich, Taipei, the Dominican Republic, Denver, and New York. Subsequently, he repeated his success with the fantasy film Babine (2008) and the Fred Pellerin-inspired Ésimésac (2012). He was also one of the nine directors to contribute to 9, an anthology of short films created by the most celebrated contemporary Quebec directors. Most recently, in 2017, he directed the Nicole Belanger adaptation Les Rois Mongols.

   

  2004년 뤽 피카드 감독은 시나리오와 연출이라는 새로운 창작 분야에서 자신의 목소리를 낼 수 있는 가능성을 찾았다. 이후 그는 첫 번째 장편 <오디션>을 연출하고 직접 출연해 마라케시, 아노네이, 생 장 드 뤼, 뮌헨, 타이페이, 도미니카 공화국, 덴버, 뉴욕 등 전 세계 여러 영화제에서 초청돼 수상한 바 있다. 이후 2008년 판타지 영화 , 2012년 로 성공을 거두었다. 또한 퀘벡 지역에서 가장 유명한 동시대 감독들의 단편을 묶어 만든 <9>에도 참여한 바 있다. 2017년 니콜 벨란저가 각색한 <크로스 마이 하트>를 연출했다.
