10살 토다는 마을에서 가장 맛있는 빵을 만드는 제빵사 아빠와 함께 살고 있다. 토다는 빵과 케이크에 대한 모든 것을 알고 있으며, 아빠가 트럼펫을 부는 걸 가장 좋아하는 소녀이기도 하다. 그러나 어느 날 모든 것이 변하기 시작한다. 아빠가 갑자기 나라를 지키는 임무를 받게 된 것이다. 위험을 피해 토다는 엄마가 살고 있는 미지의 이웃국가로 위험천만한 여행을 떠나야만 한다. 이 여정에서 토다는 이상한 사람들과 황당한 사건들, 그리고 새로운 친구를 만나게 된다.

Ten-year-old Toda lives with her dad, the best pastry chef in town. Toda knows everything there is to know about cakes and pastries and loves when her dad plays the trumpet. But one day everything changes : her dad is called away unexpectedly to defend his country. In order to stay safe, Toda has to undertake a challenging journey to the unknown neighbouring country where her mother lives. On the way she meets strange people, encounters absurd situations and even finds a new friend.
