• 페어리 펭귄의 서식지로 유명한 관광지인 호주 남부의 작은 섬마을. 여우 몇 마리가 펭귄들을 공격하는 사건이 빈번하게 발생하면서 관광지 문을 닫아야 할 지경에 이르자, 양계장을 운영하는 괴짜 할아버지가 손녀와 함께 펭귄 수호작전에 나선다. 그것도 동네 사고뭉치로 소문난 양치기 개 오드볼과 함께!

  - 스튜어트 맥도날드는 1989년 멜버른에 위치한 스윈번영화학교(VCA)를 졸업했다. <썸머 하이츠 하이>, <앵그리 보이즈>, <프라이빗 스쿨걸 제이미>와 크리스 릴리 주연의 <통가에서 온 조나>를 연출했다. 미국영화연구소(AFI), 덴디시네마, IF, 호주영화평론가협회(Film Critic‘s Circle), 아톰어워즈에서 최고단편상을 수상한 <스트랜디드>를 연출했다. 미국에서 <해피엔딩>, <서버가토리> 등을 연출했으며, 가장 최신작으로는 <오드볼>이 있다. - Stuart McDonald graduated from Melbourne's Swinburne (VCA) film school in 1989. Stuart McDonald directed “Summer Heights High”, “Angry Boys”, “Ja’mie: Private School Girl” and “Jonah From Tonga” starring Chris Lilley. In terms of drama, Stuart Mc Donald directed “Stranded” a fifty minute coming of age drama film that won Best Short Film at the AFI, Dendy, IF, Film Critic’s Circle and Atom Awards. In the US, Stuart has directed e.g. “Happy Endings” and “Suburgatory”. “Oddball” is Stuart’s most recent theatrical film.
