• 아빠 포포와 엄마 에트나의 외동딸로 사랑을 듬뿍 받고 자란 몬스터 몰리. 익숙한 장소에서 살아있는 시계태엽 장난감 에디슨과 놀며 주로 시간을 보낸다. 그러던 어느 날, 엄마가 동생의 알을 낳고, 아빠는 동생의 알을 품는다. 동생이 태어났을 때 가족 내에서 자신의 위치가 무엇인지 알기 위해 몰리는 여행을 떠난다. 집으로부터 먼 곳까지 여행을 다녀온 몰리, 와일드 언덕을 넘어 에그 아일랜드에 도착하자 그 곳에서 엄마아빠와 재회하고, 몬스터 동생도 만난다.

  - Molly Monster is the deeply-loved only-monster of Popo and Etna Monster. She spends her days in familiär surroundings playing with her best friend Edison, a clockwork toy with a life of his own. But when Mama gives birth to an egg (which Papa must hatch) Molly sets out on a journey to find her new place in the family. The journey takes her far away from home and over the Wild Hills to Egg Island, where she is reunited with her Mama and her Papa, and her new mini-monster sibling.

  테드 시에거(Ted Sieger)
  1958년 칠레 출생. 1987년부터 애니메이션 영화 및 시리즈물을 감독/각본/제작/애니메이션/디자인해왔으며, 만화책과 그림책도 다수 출판했다. 2004년부터 영화학교에 출강하고 있다. TV 애니메이션 시리즈 테드 시에거의 야생동물이야기 (1999년 작; 100개 단편)으로도 잘 알려져 있다. 2007년 유럽장편애니메이션영화제에서 심사위원단 선정 특별상을 수상했으며, 마이클 에크블라드와 <네 번째 왕(The Fourth King)>으로 TV특별상을 수상했다. <br><br> - Born 1958 in Chile. Since 1987 Ted Sieger works as independent director, writer, producer, animator and designer of animation films and series, comics and picture books. Since 2004 also lectures in film schools. He is known for, among others, the animated television series Ted Sieger‘s Wildlife (1999; 100 short films). In 2007, he was awarded the Special Mention of Jury at the 5th Festival of European Animated Feature Films and TV Specials alongside Michael Ekblad for their work on The Fourth King
