가족들과 유람선 여행을 하기로 한 찰리는 폐차 직전의 자동차에 가족들을 태우고 나들이를 떠난다. 천신만고 끝에 선착장에 도착했지만, 배는 벌써 출발신호를 울린다. 찰리는 담뱃불을 끄기 위해 재떨이를 찾아 잽싸게 뛰어갔다 오지만 이미 배는 선착장에서 떠나기 시작한다.
Father takes his family for a drive in their falling-apart model T Ford, gets in trouble in traffic, and plans to spend the day on an excursion boat.
As the boat is about to leave, Charlie rushes ashore for cigarettes. As he returns, the boat is leaving, but a fat lady has fallen forward- her feet still on the dock and her hands on the boat's deck- so Charlie is able rush aboard across her back.

어린 소년 카즈키는 엄마가 돌아가신 후 아빠 타카유키와 하루하루를 힘겹게 살아간다. 엄마의 빈 자리에 공허감을 느끼던 두 사람 앞에 어느 날 엄마의 장기를 기증 받았다는 ‘유카’라는 여성으로부터 편지 한 장이 도착한다. 봄이 오면 자신이 직접 만든 꿀을 보내주겠다는 말과 함께. 엄마의 죽음을 인정할 수 없었던 카즈키는 엄마에 대한 기억을 더듬으며 편지를 보낸 유카를 찾아 떠난다.
A son, KAZUKI, and his father, TAKAYUKI, lost their loving mother and cannot deal with her death well. hile both of them cannot move on with a big hole on their hearts, they receive a letter from a recipient woman, YUKA, who had an organ donation from their loved mother. On her letter, it is said that she will send homemade honey in spring. The son who cannot accept his mohter's death starts searching the recipient womanby chasing his mother's images.
