   모로코 중심지역의 숲에서 혼자 발견된 아이샤는 자신에게 닥치게 될 삶을 바꾸려 노력하고, 운명을 스스로 결정하는 용감한 소녀이다. 유럽으로 팔려가게 된 아이샤는 그녀를 이용해 큰 돈을 벌 계획인 아바스와 죄책감을 느끼지만 아무것도 할 수 없는 그의 여자친구 나디아에 의해 여정을 떠나게 된다. 그들은 곧 작가 자카리아를 우연히 만나게 되는데, 자카리아는 사랑하는 여인 주디스를 포함한 그의 모든 것을 뒤로 한 채 사라진 남동생을 찾아 길을 나선 참이다. 그는 모로코, 이스탄불, 쿠르디스탄 평야를 가로질러 그 너머로까지 여행을 하며 동생의 흔적을 찾는다. 로드무비 형식을 띤 이 영화는 인생이란 구불구불한 길을 지나는 한밤의 좁은 길로 우리를 안내한다. 유려한 화면과 인상적인 엔딩이 돋보이는 작품이다.
  A young orphan, Aïcha, is found alone in the forests of central Morocoo. She has a personal history that reveals a courageous attempt at self-determination. Taken and sold from her home in the hills of the Atlas mountains, Aïcha finds herself at the mercy of a petty criminal. Abbas, and his conflicted girlfriend, Nadia. They soon cross paths with Zacaria, a Moroccan/Iraqi writer, who has left everything behind – including a passionate relationship with a teacher, Judith – to search for his missing brother. The group embarks on a journey that will lead them across Morocco, to Istanbul, the plains of Kurdistan and beyond.

  탈라 하디드(Tala HADID)
  작가, 영화감독이자 사진작가인 탈라 하디드는 베를린국제영화제 최우수 단편영화상 수상작인 <당신의검정머리 이흐산>(2006)을 연출하였고, <피에르 파올로 파졸리니에 대한 성스러운 시> 등의 다큐멘터리를 만들었다. 그녀의 작품은 뉴욕 현대미술관, 파리 아랍세계연구소 및 시네마테크 프랑세즈, LA카운티 미술관 등에서 전시되었고, 2014년에는 예술사진출판사 『Stern』의 스턴사진 포트폴리오(Stern Fotografie Portfolio) 시리즈에서 주목할만한 사진작가로 소개된 바 있다. </br> Writer, director and photographer Tala Hadid has made several short films, including Your Dark Hair Ihsan (2006) which won the Panorama Best Short Film Award at Berlin Film Festival. She has also made various documentaries including Sacred Poet on Pier Paola Pasolini. Her work has shown at MOMA in NYC, L’Institut du Monde Arabe in Paris, Los Angeles County Museum and La Cinémateèque Française in Paris. Last year the Fine Art photography publisher 『Stern』 published a volume of a selection of her photographs as part of its Stern Fotografie Portfolio Series of emerging photographers.
