  하나의 이야기를 그려내기란 쉽지 않다. 작가, 소녀, 예술가, 폐지 줍는 사람들... 그들 모두는 폐쇄된 공간에 있다. 이 영화는 우리가 직면해보지 못했던, 그러나 앞으로 직면하게 될 것들을 묘사한다.

  It is difficult to illustrate a story. Writer, girl, artist, scavengers... they are all in a closed space. The film describes an expectation what we did not face but will in the future.

  쓰레기 더미를 끌고 힘겹게 걸어가는 노인. 한적한 골목길을 여유롭게 거니는 고양이. 빠른 걸음으로 귀가하는 한 여인. 가족들의 담소와 담배 연기. 역기를 들어 올리는 건장한 청년. 꼬마의 비눗방울 놀이…….
  그처럼 이 영화는 일상의 단면들을 모아 단 하나의 의미로 엮어 내려하지 않고 그냥 그대로 조심스럽게 늘어놓는다. 그런데 그 순간, 그 틈들 사이로 삶의 의미들이 하나 둘씩 나타났다 사라진다.

  14분 정도의 이 단편영화는 그처럼 부자간의 공항까지의 여정에 8분이라는 짧지 않은 시간을 할애한다.
