  시놉시스
  가족 내에서 소외된 한 소년이 아주 이상한 밤을 보내고 성장한다. 다른 가족구성원과 너무 다르게 생긴 영민은 시종일관 식구들에게 괴롭힘을 당한다. 급기야 가족들은 모두 여행을 떠나고 소년은 치매증상이 있는 할아버지와 단 둘이 남겨진다.

  Synopsis
  A boy marginalized within the family spends a very strange night that is a kind of a coming-of-age ceremony for him. When the family leaves for vocation, Young-Min, the ugly duckling in his family, is left home to stay with his senile grandfather whom he is afraid of.

   

  작품소개
  아이에서 소년에서 어른이 되는 과정이 환상과 같이 단 하루 동안의 사건을 통해 표현된 영화로 삶의 한 시기에서 다음 시기로 가기 전 마지막 날의 기록이다. 모호한 영상과 앳된 소년의 보이스 오버 그리고 가수 최희준의 ‘진고개 신사’가 어울려진 프롤로그는 이 영화의 정서가 예사롭지 않음을 전조한다. 치매에 걸린 늙은 아버지를 모시고 사는 중년 부부와 그들의 두 명의 아들이 있는 평범한 가족의 모습은 가족의 구성원들에게 극단적으로 미움과 무관심의 대상인 못생기고 뚱뚱한 그러면서도 어눌한 둘째 아들의 존재를 통해 극적 긴장감이 조성된다. 마치 판도라의 상자처럼 소년이 절대 열어서는 안 된다는 경고를 받은 무서운 형의 비밀의 서랍을 여는 장면을 통해  마침내 소년은 자신을 둘러싸고 있던 껍질을 깬다.
  상상 속의 사건과 실제의 사건들이 뒤섞인 소년의 몽정기!

  About Film
  From a little kid to a boy, and to an adult, the process of growing is expressed through one single day event just like a fantasy. This is a record of the last day of one stage. The prologue which consists of vague images and a wide-eyed boy with Korean old pop, 'Jingoge Shinsa' by CHOI Hi-jun, hints the uncommon sentiment of this film. There is a seemingly normal family consisting of grandfather with dementia, middle-aged parents, and two sons. But the second son is ugly, fat, and dull so he becomes the target of hatred and indifference in the family, creating the dramatic tension in the film. The boy finally cracks the shell by pulling out his brother's forbidden drawer, the Pandora's box.  
  A boy's wet dream shuffled with imagined and real-life incidents!

  시놉시스
  지리한 장마 때, 군 제대 후 복학을 앞둔 우혁(남)과 개학 졸업 후 실업자가 된 성연(여)가 만난다. 대학 동기인 두 사람은 자신들의 주변에 관한, 자신들의 처지에 관한 대화를 하다가 지리한 일상과 가라앉은 심리로부터 일탈을 한다.

  Synopsis
  It's a tedious rainy season and Woo-hyeok, who has just finished his required time in the military and is about to return college, meets Seon-yeon who is jobless since she graduated from college. They used to attend college together. They talk about their surroundings and their situations and escape the tedium of everyday life and their depressed psychological states.

   

  작품소개
  여름 장마가 한창인 어느 날 대학친구인 남자와 여자가 오랜만에 만나 함께 보낸 반나절의 이야기이다. 인물들은 대학이라는 사회에서 알아서 정해 주었던 마지막 궤도에서 벗어나 사회로 이제 각자의 길을 찾아 나서야 하고 과거의 인연들과의 작별을 고해야 한다. 하지만 이들은 갑자기 주어진 자유 아니 불확실한 미래 앞에서 어찌할 바 모른다.. 영화 중반부에 남자와 여자가 관계를 가기 전의 침묵과 어색함 그리고 주저함의 순간을 포착한 것이 아주 흥미롭다. 아무리 심한 장마도 지나가면 흔적도 없이 사라지는 거처럼 청춘의 한 자락도 그렇게 사라진다.

  About Film
  It's the tedious rainy season. A man and a woman who used to attend the same college spend half a day together. They have to say goodbye to the ties of the past and should go out into the world escaping from the determined track by schools. However, they are at a loss for what to do facing their abrupt freedom, the uncertain future. It is interesting that the film captures the moment of silence, awkwardness, and hesitation in the middle of it before their having a sex. No matter how strong the rain is, it disappears without leaving a trace after the rainy season. So is youth.

  Synopsis
  He is sitting on his usual bus and looking at a woman who happens to lean on his shoulder asleep, which makes his heart flutter. This is a real illusion. That illusion stirs his mind and disappears back into reality. Did Not Conceal Anything.

  영화 <에. 묻다.>는 반복되는 평범한 일상 속에서 벌어지는 작은 에피소드와 그로 인해 생겨나는 감정의 소소한 파장을 절제된 미장센으로 표현하고 있다. 일상 속의 우연한 만남, 막연한 기대와 설렘... 영화는 제목에 사용된 익숙하지만 낯선 문장부호(말줄임표와 쉼표)처럼 일상에서 일어나는 낯설지만 익숙한 만남을 다시 일상 속의 여운으로 묻은 채 우리에게 묻는다. “당신의 추억은 어디에 묻혀 있나요?”라고...

  expresses some delicate wavelengths of emotions engendered from a small happening in ordinary day-to-day life with a restrained mise-en-scene. Unexpected encounter in everyday life, a vague expectation and excitement... The film, like the accustomed but unfamiliar punctuations (an ellipsis with a comma) used in its korean title, asks us a question: “Where are your memories buried ?”, with concealing the familiar strange happening in our everyday life.

  박준범 PARK Joon-bum
  1980년 부산출생. 경성대학교 연극영화학부 영화전공 졸업. 제2회 미장센단편영화제에 소개된 <뒤통수 후리려다.. 후림 당하다.>(2002), 2004년 부산아시아단편영화제에 소개된 <..에. 묻다.>(2003), 2004년 메이드인부산독립영화제 개막작이었던 <영업 중 외출>(2004) 등 여섯 편의 단편을 연출했다. 그의 첫 장편영화 <도다리>는 2007년 부산국제영화제, 서울독립영화제, 메이드인부산독립영화제, 2008년 파리한불영화제에서 상영되었고, 재편집본 <도다리 - 리덕스>(2011)로 2012년 개봉되었다.

  Born in 1980, Busan. Theater & Film Dept. Kyungsung Univ. He directed 6 short films, including <After All, His Pride Was Hurt>(2002) screened at the 2nd Mise-en-scene's Short Film Festival, <He Did Not Conceal Anything>(2003) screened at Busan Asian Short Film Festival 2004, the opening film at Independent Film Festival MADE IN BUSAN 2004, <After the Fact>(2004). His first feature film <Busan Flounder(Dodari)>(2007) was screened at Busan International Film Festival, Seoul Independent Film Festival, and Independent Film Festival MADE IN BUSAN in 2007, and its re-edited version <Busan Flounder – Redux>(2011) was released in 2012.
