  같은 건물에 사는 남자와 여자. 똑같이 불행한 하루를 겪은 두 사람은 우연히 만나 함께 술을 마시게 된다.
  Synopsis
  One Man.  One Woman. Living in the same place. Both facing a day of misfortune. They drink together and end up sharing the same  world.

  자신이 원했던 일(DREAM)과 상관없는 일(JOB)로 사회의 흐름에 첫발을 내디딘 사회초년생들의 하루를 그리고 싶었다.
  Director’s Statement
  I wanted to portray the lives of typical young men and women who must compromise their childhood dreams and enter the workforce.

   

  리뷰 _ 허정식
  지하철역을 모델로 한 환상적인 백색 공간. 열차처럼 띠를 이루어 한 방향으로 달려가는 사람들의 무리가 반복해서 스쳐지나간다. 남녀 주인공은 생존을 위해 이 무리에 올라타려 하지만 이 무리에 매달릴 수 있게 해주는 끈은 끊어지고 아웃사이더로 내몰릴 따름이다. 디지털 특수효과를 한국사회에서의 소외라는 테마와 잘 어우러지게 만든 작품.
  Review _ HUR Jeong-sic
  Fantastic white space having imitated a subway station. A bunch of people run past repeatedly rushing into one direction, just like a train. The male and female protagonists try to get on the crowd to survive, but the strap which connects them with the crowd is broken, driving them into outsiders. This film well blended digital special effects with the theme, alienation in Korean society.

  사고로 이웃집의 지붕 위에서 몇 명의 젊은이들이 지붕을 부수며 땅으로 떨어진다.
  Synopsis
  An accident takes some young people from the roofs of their neighborhood houses to its destruction, and finally to the depths of the earth.

   

  연출의도
  이곳이든, 저곳이든 아니면 또 다른 곳이든, 다른 세계에 존재할 수 있다는 것. 모든 것에는 무한한 잠재력이 있다는 것을 깨닫기 위해서 마음이 의문을 가질 수 있는 공간과 시간을 창조하려고 노력하는 것. 현실은 단지 하나의 선택뿐이다.
  Director’s Statement
  To be able to be in another world, this one, that one or another. To try and create a space and a moment in which the mind can raise doubt, in order to become aware of the infinite potential in everything. Reality is just one choice.

  모든 것이 파괴된 도시에 일단의 소년들만이 어슬렁거린다. 이곳에 무슨 일이 있었던 것일까? 쓰나미? 태풍? 지진? 살아남은 아이들은 옥상 위에서 시간을 보내거나 거리와 숲을 배회한다. 너무나 처참하여 그 자체로 장대한 스펙터클을 이루는 폐허의 이미지. 끔찍하고도 아름다운 초현실의 공간. 마침내 소년들이 저 깊은 땅 속으로 환영처럼 사라져버리는 마지막 장면에 이르면 영화는 무섭고도 신비로워진다. 칸영화제를 비롯한 여러 국제영화제를 거쳐 지금 여기에 온 이 영화는 압도적인 시청각적 경험으로 영감을 불러일으키는 역작이다.
  Review _ KANG So-won
  A group of boys are hanging around the city that is all completely destroyed. What happened here? Tsunami? Typhoon? The earthquake? Surviving children are just killing time on the roof or wandering around the streets and forest. It shows an image of ruins that is a spectacle in itself due to the horrendous scene. A horrifying and beautiful surreal space. At the last scene, the boys finally disappears into the deep ground like a ghost, which makes the movie scary and even mysterious. This film was screened in the many International Film Festivals including Cannes Film Festival. It is an inspirational work to give you the overwhelming audiovisual experience.

  리뷰 _　이석호
  정밀한 3D그래픽 기술로 만들어진 애니메이션이지만 프로덕션디자인에서 나름의 스타일을 추구함으로 인해 독특한 색깔을 가지게 된 애니메이션이다. 명확한 이야기의 표현 보다는 비현실적 장면의 표현을 통해 철학적인 메시지를 전달하고 있다. 장면을 제작한 기술수준은 매우 높으며 그러한 기술을 더욱 빛나게 해주고 있는 연출과 카메라워크의 수준이 돋보인다.

  It is a well-made animation using precise 3D graphic technology while retaining its unique style and color in the production design. Unrealistic scenes rather than a clear story deliver its philosophical message. The technology used in producing process is remarkably high and the high level of directing and camerawork makes this film more fabulous.

  루슬리 부인은 나이가 많다. 그녀의 남편은 여러 해 전에 죽었고 아이들은 집을 떠났다. 그녀는 알프스산맥의 작은 언덕에 있는 농장에서 대부분의 시간을 혼자 보낸다. 혼자 지내는 것이 그녀 삶의 궁극적 임무인 것이다. 루슬리 부인이 뜨개질을 한다. 러닝머신으로 건강을 유지하고 라디오를 듣는다. 오븐에 불을 지피고 나무를 가져온다. 자신을 위해서 애플파이를 굽고 강아지와 함께 시간을 보낸다. 한 젊은 영화 스태프가 한 늙은 여자의 일상을 지켜보고 그녀가 매일 아침 어떻게 자신의 외로움과 인생의 허무함에 맞서 스스로를 추스르는지를 기록한다. 그 결과는 의식들의 힘에 대한 영화 속 에세이다. 이 영화는 시야를 확장시켜주고 일상의 아름다움을 포착한다.
  Synopsis
  Mrs. Loosli is old. Her husband died many years ago; her children have moved out. She spends her days alone on her farm at the foot hills of the Swiss Alps. Being alone is her ultimate life task. Mrs. Loosli knits. She keeps in shape on her treadmill. She listens to the radio. She fires up the oven and fetches wood. She bakes an apple pie for herself. She spends time with her dog. A young film crew watches an old lady’s everyday life and documents how each morning she braces herself against her life’s loneliness and the absurdity of life. The result is an essay in film about the power of rituals; a film that widens the horizon and captures the beautiful in the ordinary.

  스위스 알프스의 조그만 농장에서 혼자 살아가는 루슬리. 그녀의 일상을 지켜보는 카메라. 카메라를 들고 있는 감독. 감독은 그녀를 기록하기 위해 카메라를 들고 찾아가지만, 그녀의 삶을 파헤치진 않는다. 단순해보이지만 순서를 갖춘 그녀의 일상에 애정이 가는 것도 바로 그런 이유 때문이다. 다큐멘터리를 보면서 화면 속에 나타나는 이야기와 사람에 애정이 간다는 것. 그것이 좋은 다큐멘터리의 힘 아닐까?

  Loosli lives alone in a small farm-house in the Swiss Alps. A camera watches her everyday life. Director holds a camera to record her life, but dose not undermine her life. That's why you come to like her simple but orderly day-to-day life. If you get to love the people and their stories in a documentary while watching it, is it because of a power of a well-made documentary?

  니콜 보겔러 Nicole Vögele
  1983년(스위스) 올텐에서 출생해서 독일 슈트트가르트, 스위스 취리히에서 살았다. 2002년부터 스위스 공영방송에서 <10 vor 10>, , 등의 프로그램에서 리포터와 기자로 활동하고 있다. 여기서 다큐멘터리 제작을 시작하기도 했다. 2010년에 바덴뷔르템베르크 영화학교에 입학하여 다큐멘터리 영화제작을 공부하고 있다.

  Born in 1983 in Olten(Switzerland), lives in Stuttgart, Germany and Zurich, Switzerland.
  Since 2002 she has been working for the Swiss National Television as a reporter and journalist for several programs as <10 vor 10>, and . There she started making documentaries. In 2010, Nicole Vögele enrolled at the Baden-Württemberg Film Academy, Ludwigsburg, studying documentary film making.
