   10살 소년 오스카에겐 꿈이 있다. 엄마와 함께 넓은 초원에서 말을 타는 것. 하지만 여름 방학 직전에 오스카의 엄마는 오스카를 성격 고약한 할아버지의 농장에 맡겨두고 떠날 것이라고 이야기한다. 운이 좋게도 오스카는 근시를 가진 말 레비와 서로 친해지게 되고, 엄마를 찾아 레비와 함께 보트를 타고 대서양을 건너는 황당한 계획을 짜게 된다.

   

   10 year old Oskar has a dream. He wants to ride the prairies with his mother. Right before summer vacation, Oskars mum tells him she is going to America, while he has to stay behind on the farm with his bad-tempered grandfather. Fortunately for Oskar, he gets acquainted with Levi and his short-sighted horse. Together they set up a nutty plan to cross the Atlantic Ocean in a rowboat with Levi's horse as a passenger, in order to find Oskars mum.

  Torfinn Iversen 토핀 이버슨

   토핀 이버슨 (1985년 생) 감독은 노르웨이 릴레함메르 대학에서 시각문화 (영화 및 TV) 분과에서 예술학사를 취득하였고, 하와이태평양대학에서 1년을 수학하였으며, 노드랜드 예술 영화 학교에서 2009년 봄 졸업했다. 어린 시절부터 단편영화를 만들기 시작했는데, 8살이라는 어린 나이에 처음으로 Laterna Magica 지역 영화제에 참가하였으며, 반에서 자신이 쓴 시나리오로 1등상을 수상하기도 하였다. (이 시나리오는 만화로 소개됐다.) 이후 많은 영화제에 초대되었으며, 영화제 심사위원으로도 활동했다. 2011년 영화제 20주년을 맞이하여 이버슨은 영화제 최초 명예상을 수상하기도 하였다. 

  
   Torfinn Iversen (b. 1985) holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Visual Culture (film and television) from Lillehammer University College, including a year at Hawaii Pacific University, and graduated from Nordland College of Art and Film the spring of 2009. Iversen started making short films at a very young age. He participated in the regional young peoples film festival Laterna Magica for the first time at the tender age of eight (!), and even won 1st prize for best manuscript in his class (the script was presented through a cartoon). He has since participated in the festival many times, and has among other thing served on the festival's jury. At the festivals 20th anniversary in 2011, Iversen was also the recipient of the festivals first ever Honorary Award.
