    City of Star(a Dress Studio) is located on the 1st floor of DOUBLE CONE, Which is shaped like two reversed ice cream cones.

  • THE LIBRARY(DOUBLE CONE 4F)

    Since its opening as Cinema Center Busan in 1999, the Library of the Cinema Center Busan has been collecting a wide range of film-related materials and making them available to the public. Currently, it houses over 44,500 items. Notably, materials related to past special screenings at Cinema Center Busan and films submitted to the Busan International Film Festival are unique resources that cannot be found elsewhere. Additionally, the Busan branch of the Korean Film Archive provides VOD services for Korean classic films and independent films. Through the dedicated viewing seats for Korean Film Archive’s VOD, visitors can enjoy 4,486 films provided by the Korean Film Archive. We hope that these resources will be valuable to all film enthusiasts, as well as researchers and students in the field of cinema. Moving forward, the Cinema Center Busan will continue its efforts to collect and provide film-related materials.

    Cultural Day Hours 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM (Last Wednesday of every month)
    Closed Days Every Monday, January 1st, Korean New Year’s Day, Chuseok, and other days as determined by the Movie Theater Director
    Fees Free
    - Copying library materials incurs a fee of 50 KRW per page (50 KRW per page). Copies are allowed only up to 1/5 of the library materials, in accordance with copyright laws.
    - All library materials from the Movie Theater Library cannot be checked out externally (personal collection videos are not allowed for viewing).
