  체코 즐린시 토마스 바타 대학 멀티미디어 커뮤니케이션 학부에서 애니메이션과 시청각 분야를 전공하고 학위를 취득했다. 그 후 파리국립장식미술학교에서 6개월간 인턴쉽 과정을 밟으며 애니메이션에 대해 집중적으로 공부했다. 현재 프라하 FAMU에서 공부를 이어가고 있다.

  
  

  Jakub Kourilgraduated from Animation and Audio-vision at the Faculty of Multimedia Communications at the Tomas Bata University in Zlín. He went on a six-moths internship at ENSAD (École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs) in Paris, where he also focused on animation, and now he continues his education at the Film and TV School of Academy of Performing Arts in Prague and studies Animation.

  어느 날, 잠을 자던 나무는 작은 세 마리 동물들, 다람쥐, 새, 토끼 때문에 깜짝 놀라고 만다. 초대받지 않은 세 명의 방문자들을 없애려는 시도가 실패로 돌아간 후, 폭풍이 찾아온다. 엄청난 검은 구름이 모두를 위협하자 나무는 이들을 보호하기 위해 전력을 다한다. 마침내 늙고 생기 없던 투덜이 나무는 친절한 영웅이 된다.

  
  

  One day he is surprised in his sleep by three little animals - a squirrel, a bird and a hare. After some unsuccessful attempts of getting rid of these uninvited visitors there comes a storm.
