• 매년 암스테르담에서는 도시 중심에 있는 댐스퀘어 광장에서 신나는 거리축구 결승전이 펼쳐진다. 어린이 장편다큐멘터리 <암스테르담의 챔피언>은 이 경기에 참가한 12살 소년 다섯 명을 따라간다. 서로 다른 도시 출신인 소년들은 각기 다른 사회, 문화적 배경을 가지고 있다. 그리고 각각의 소년들은 나름대로의 어려움에 직면해 있다. 하지만 아이들에겐 한 가지 공통점이 있는데, 그것은 바로 모두 축구를 사랑한다는 것이다! 과연 누가 이 대단한 경기에서 우승하게 될까?

  
  

   

  
  

  Every year Amsterdam hosts an exciting street football tournament with a big final on Dam Square in the centre of town. In this long youth documentary, we follow five twelve year old boys who participate in this tournament. They come from different areas of the city and all have different socio-cultural backgrounds.   샨더 더 부어 감독은 독립영화 및 제작 의뢰를 받은 영화들을 만들고 있다. 그의 독립영화에는 섬세한 스타일이 돋보인다. 드니스 요제(1966년, 로테르담 출생)감독은 1990년, 암스테르담 필름아카데미를 졸업하였다. 마욜린 헤이너 감독은 졸업 후 네덜란드 지역방송국에서 수 년 동안 일하면서 다양한 사람들에 대한 이야기들을 작품을 통해 다루어왔다.

  
  

   

  
  

  Xander de Boer makes independent movies and commissioned films. His independent work is stylistically sophisticated. The interplay between movement, sound and image are important elements in his films. Denise Janzée (1966 Rotterdam) graguaded 1990 from the Filmacademy Amsterdam.
