• 사춘기에 접어든 제이크와 친구들은 함께 당구를 치거나, 포르노를 보고, 때로는 술에 취해 보기도 한다. 친구들은 항상 소녀들에게 관심을 보이지만, 제이크는 마음에도 별로 없는 첫 경험을 시도했을 뿐 소녀들에게 별 관심이 없다. 오히려 제이크의 관심은 누구에게도 고백할 수 없는 다른 곳으로 향하게 되는데.......

  
  

   

  
  

  Jake and his best friends navigate through puberty, playing pool, watching porn and getting drunk. While his group has girls on their minds at all times, Jake retreats, only half-heartedly attempting to lose his virginity, and appease his friends.   단편 <에밀리 크라이스>로 2007년 브레스트국제단편영화제에서 최우수유럽중편영화상을 수상하였고, 2009년에는 칸영화제의 시네파운데이션 레지던스 상을 수상하기도 했다. 2016년, BBC와 “필름런던마이크로웨이브제도”에서 기획하고 개발하고 블루쉐도우 필름에서 제작한 장편데뷔작 <버터플라이 키세스>를 연출하여 2017년 베를린국제영화제에서 수정곰상을 수상하였다.

  
  

   

  
  

  His short 'Emily Cries', won Best European mid-length film at the 2007 Brest International short Film Festival. In 2009 he won the Cannes Film Festival's Cinefondation Residence Award. In 2016 he directed his feature debut 'Butterfly Kisses'.
