• 크리스마스 시즌, 집과 잽은 늘 하던 장난을 친다. 한편 도가 지나친 장난에 대한 벌로 크리스마스 휴가 대신, 부모님과 지루한 보트 여행을 떠나게 된다. 그 목적지는 놀랍게도 화려한 경관을 자랑하는 외딴 섬이었다. 그러나 갑자기 무시무시한 폭풍이 몰아닥쳤고 그들은 괴짜 여인 미스 팸의 대저택으로 피신할 수 밖에 없다. 그 곳에는 가족이 없는 아이들이 어떤 규칙도 없는 파라다이스를 한껏 즐기고 있다. 한 밤중에 갑자기 부모님이 사라진 집과 잽은 그 곳에서 사귄 새로운 친구 플레키, 맥키, 피피의 도움으로 부모님의 행방불명이 이 섬과 여기에 사는 기묘한 사람들의 알 수 없는 비밀과 관련되어 있다는 것을 알게 된다.

  
  

   

  
  

  It's Christmas and Zip and Zap are up to their old tricks. But this time they've gone too far and their punishment will be no Christmas vacation and a seemingly boring boat trip with their parents instead. To their surprise, the destination is a spectacular remote island. But a terrifying storm rolls in and they're forced to seek shelter at a mansion belonging to the eccentric Miss Pam, where children without families enjoy a paradise with no rules.   오스카르 산토스 감독은 1972년 빌바오 출생으로 <토르> 와 <엘 소나도르>를 연출했으며 다양한 국제 영화제에서 수상했다. 두 번째 장편 <쌍둥이와 마블 갱>은 토론토 국제 영화제에서 프리미어 상영된 후, 산 세바스챤 국제 영화제와 선댄스 영화제에서도 소개되었으며 2013년 스페인 박스오피스에서 가장 많은 수익을 올린 영화로 기록되었다.
