  우리는 이 작품에서 아멜리아와 두아르테, 이 두 사람이 사랑이 끝난 후 느끼는 감정을 보게 된다. 이들의 관계는 오래된 책의 모습을 띠고 있으며 이 책은 두 사람의 이별에 대해 그리고 있다. 이 두 사람이 헤어진 후 서로에 대한 지난 기억을 지우려 노력하는 과정을 우리는 따라가게 되는 것이다. 영화는 50년대의 테크니컬러 느낌을 살리면서 픽실레이션과 스톱모션 기법을 이용해 제작되었다.

  서양화의 두 거장인 에드바르트 뭉크와 빈센트 반 고흐. 영화는 1인칭의 시점에서 이들의 대표작들과 이 둘 사이의 유사성, 그리고 이들의 삶을 나란히 들여다본다. 분할화면의 여러 기법을 사용하여 실제 세상과 그림의 질감을 혼합해 내었으며, 이들의 일과 삶에 대해 이야기한다.

  만일 갑자기 12살로 돌아가 신과 같은 힘을 가지게 된다면 어떻게 하겠는가? 그 힘을 좋은 일에 쓰겠는가? 아니면 나쁜 일에 쓰겠는가? 아니면 둘 다? 생물학 수업에서 개구리를 해부하던 한 소년은 끝없는 상상의 나래를 펼치기 시작한다. 생명을 장난감처럼 다룰 수 있는 힘을 가지게 되자, 소년은 사람들을 혼내 줄 수 있는 괴물을 그려보기도 하고 사랑하는 릴리와의 즐거운 데이트를 상상해 보기도 한다.

  모니카 산토스(M？nica Santos)
  Mónica Santos studied at the Royal College of Art, Communication art & design, London, where she had a scholarship given by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. Versatile in both theoretical and practical views on cinema, Monica not only had presentations of her films in Portugal, United Kingdom, France and Italy, but currently she is doing a PhD in film studies.   코델 바커(Cordell Barker)
  Cordell Barker (born 1956) is a Canadian animator based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He began animating in his late teens after taking on an apprenticeship at Kenn Perkins Animation. A two-time Academy Award nominee, Barker is an animation filmmaker with the National Film Board of Canada (NFB).

  

  정다희(Jeong Dahee)
  Educated at Hongik University in Seoul and got a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Communication. Went to Paris in 2008 and got a Master’s in Animation at Ecole Nationale Superieure des Arts Decoratifs. Her graduation film, Le temps de l'arbre (The hours of tree), won the Grand Prize at the Indie-Anifest 2013. She has been invited for the animation residency at Fontevraud Abbey, France in 2013.   Chris Ullens is a Belgian director born in wonderful 1980. He lives and works in London. He loves his wife, stop-motion, cameras, human error, anything playful and his dogs Napoleon and Archie. He’s happy about that and with his few awards under the arm, he will now happily ever after continue experimenting with his multi-disciplinary skills in order to find fresh, new, weird and exciting projects.

  사라 반 덴 붐(Sarah Van Den Boom)
  Sarah Van den Boom was born into a family of artists. Though she developed a keen interest in theatre, dance and illustration, she eventually began to explore animation. In 2005, she released her first film, the much-lauded short Novecento: Pianist based on a monologue for theatre by Alessandro Baricco. In the years following, she continued pursuing a career in animation, particularly in Hollywood where the studio Acme Filmworks commissioned her to do commercials. In 2009, Sarah completed The Skeleton Woman, a second promising animated short, which screened at some 50 film festivals around the world. In 2015, she is back with her third film, In Deep Waters, which is co-produced with the NFB.
