  누군가의 이야기들과 기억들이 도시의 소음들, 자연의 풍경들과 뒤섞이고, 사랑과 이별의 이야기들이 파괴되고 재건되는 이미지들과 겹쳐진다. 그렇게 이미지와 소리들은 서로가 서로에게 부딪히고 부서지며 새로운 틈을 만들어낸다. 그리고 이제 그 빈 틈들 사이로 새로운 어떤 것들이 하나 둘씩 비집고 드러난다. 현대 도시에 관한 애잔한 교향곡. (홍영주)

   

  서바이벌 Survival

  아비규환의 전쟁지역, 그 어딘가에 적막하고 고요한 한 저수지가 보인다. 곧 하늘에서 비명 소리와 함께 사람 하나가 물속으로 떨어진다. 저수지 위의 보트에는 사망한 사람의 시계 및 귀금속을 줍게 하는 권력자와 다이버가 있다. 그들의 갑을 운명은 언제까지 지속될 것인가? <서바이벌>은 이권과 권력다툼으로 상징되는 중동의 아비규환을 기발한 상상력과 비유로 그려낸 수작이다. (정성욱)

   

  어웨이크 Awake

  시각장애인 안나의 적막한 집에 낯선 여인 도린이 방문한다. 도린 역시 시각장애인이다. 비관적인 성격의 안나는 사교적인 도린에게 거부감을 느끼고 그녀를 돌려 보내려 한다. 그러다 현관문이 잠기는 해프닝이 벌어지고 이를 계기로 그녀들은 하루를 함께 보낸다. 이를 통해 안나는 자신만의 닫힌 세계를 깨고 일상의 작은 행복을 경험한다. 보지 않아도 느낄 수 있고, 서로 달라도 어우러질 수 있다. 실제 시각장애인인 배우의 연기와 간결한 연출이 돋보이는 영화다. (김은정)

   

  제국 Empire

  평범한 오후. 어느 중산층 가정의 일상은 퇴근해서 돌아온 남편에 의해 되돌릴 수 없는 비극으로 치닫는다. 현대 소비사회의 반복적 일상에서 기인하는 불행을 원 쇼트 원 신을 통해 실시간으로 간결하게 묘사하는 작품. (허정식)

   

  꽃 Flowers

  이인용 병실에 면회 온 두 가족의 이야기. 한쪽은 서로 티격태격하면서도 낙천적인 반면, 다른 한쪽은 조용하고 비관적인 분위기에 싸여 있다. 가족의 대화는 상대편 침대를 의식하면서 조심스레 이어진다. 우리에게 낯익은 풍경이지만 영화는 시점을 달리 하여 같은 시간을 두 번 보여준다. 이 반복을 통해 우리는 인간 사이의 배려와 유대, 그리고 진실의 거처를 발견하고 배우게 된다. (김충국)

  크리스티나 피치(Cristina Picchi)
  Cristina Picchi is an award winning Italian filmmaker, writer and visual artist based in London. Her films have been screened in festivals and galleries worldwide, winning prizes in festivals such as Locarno, Clermont-Ferrand and Thessaloniki. In 2013 she was nominated for Best Short Film at the European Film Awards, while her last short film was in competition at the 72° Venice International Film Festival. She is the recipient of the EMAN/EMARE residency program in Montreal and the Quartier21 residency program at the Museumsquartier in Vienna. She holds a degree and an MA in European Literature from the University of Pisa and a master's degree in Screen Documentary from Goldsmiths University of London.   미카엘 악트먼()
  As writer, director and performer, Michael Achtman’s work spans theatre, film & video, and live art. From 1997 through 2002, he collaborated with R.M. Vaughan on a series of poetic, DIY videos that screened internationally and culminated in retrospectives at the Squeaky Wheel, Buffalo and SPIN Gallery, Toronto. Since 2003, he has frequently collaborated with Deaf and disabled artists, and his work explores accessible practice and distribution. His 25-minute short, Welcome Stop, screened at the Moscow International Disability Film Festival, Entzaubertfest (Berlin) and Picture This film festival (Calgary).   크리스토프 후르나에르트(Kristof Hoornaert)
  Kristof Hoornaert (1980, Belgium) studied Audiovisual Arts in Ghent and Brussels. His first short film <Kain> premiered in the official competition of the 59th Berlin International Film Festival, where it got nominated for the Golden Bear. He also edited the short film Nuclear Waste by Ukrainian filmmaker Myroslav Slaboshpytskiy (The Tribe), which premiered in the official competition of the 65th Locarno International Film Festival, where it won the Silver Leopard. In 2013 he wrote, directed and produced his second short film The Fall - a 17 minute short film that was shot in only 1 day and that won several awards. Empire is his latest short film. Currently he is working on his first feature film Resurrection with Fobic Films.
