  Basha is a quiet Muslim who is reqularly picked on by her schoolmates. As she looks at the mirror, she sees nothing but the violence directed to her almost everyone. But, thanks to a phone call, she gets a chance to join a contest and prove her worth.

  Formerly the city of Matosinhos was known as one of the most important fishing communities of the north of Portugal. The stories that were heard and portrayed in this film are examples of the sacrifice, struggle and hunger of people who made their living from the sea.

  포르투 루도테카스 협회에서 진행한 워크숍 참가자들이 연출한 작품으로, 폰테 다 모우라 학교 5학년과 영화 제작 경험이 없는 11~14세 아이들이 함께 작업했다.

   

  The film was directed by Associação de Ludotecas do Porto /Anilupa´s workshop participants: 5th grade students of AE Irmãos Passos School, who were 11- 14 years old at the time and had no previous filmmaking experience.
