    시간마저 멈춘 듯한 벨라루스의 한 작은 마을. 9살 소녀, 야샤는 어머니의 죽음을 경함한다. 그녀의 아버지는 야샤를 고아원으로 보내기로 결심한다. 그러던 어느 날 야샤는 도망치기로 결심한다.

     

    In a small Belarussian village where time seems to stand still, Jasja, a nine-year-old girl, has to deal with her mother‘s death. Her father decides to send her to an orphanage. But one day she decides to run away and go back home.

    첫 다큐멘터리 작품 <컨트리 오브 우먼>이 자그레브 다큐멘터리 영화제 경쟁부문에 초청되었으며 제24회 러시아 민스크 국제영화제에서 ‘윤리의 가치를 고수한 영화’상을 수상한 바 있다.

    점점 기력을 잃어가는 늙은 개의 모습을 받아들이기 힘든 가족들. 재개발지역으로 지정되면서 이사를 가지만, 늙은 개는 오래된 집을 떠나기 싫은 듯 고집스럽게 짖어댄다. 결국 끌려서 큰집으로 가게 되지만, 얼마 안 되어서 가족으로부터 벗어나 옛집에서 유기견으로 살아가게 된다.

     

    The family is having a difficult time accepting the fact that their dog is aging and weakening. As their home is selected as a redevelopment area, the family moves, but the old dog barks as if it is reluctant to leave its old house. In the end, they all move to the house of the eldest son. Not long after, however, the dog separates itself from the family and goes back to the old house to live as a stray dog.

     

    최민호 CHOI Min-Ho

     

    1970년 서울 출생으로 한국예술종합학교 영상원 애니메이션과를 졸업하였다. 2003년 영상원 졸업작품 〈만선〉을 연출했다.

     

    Born in Seoul Korea, in 1970. He graduated from the Korea National University of Arts majoring animation. He made <A Ship Full Of Fish> in 2003 as his graduation work.
