  에이디스와 카리의 부모님이 이혼하셨을 때 에이디스는와 카리는 고작 5살, 6살이었다. 엄마는 이혼 후 안정을 되찾기 위해 노력했고, 아이들은 임시로 시골의 한 어린이집으로 보내졌다. 며칠이 몇 주가 되고 아이들이 생각한 것보다 훨씬 더 오래 그 곳에 머물게 되었다. 아이들은 희망이 없다고 생각하고 그 곳을 탈출할 계획을 세운다.

   

  Eydis and Kari are only five and six years old when their parents' marriage breaks apart. As their mother struggles to find her footing following the divorce, they are sent temporarily to a countryside children's home. With days becoming weeks, their stay turns out to be longer than they had ever expected. With no hope in sight, Eydis and Kari plan their escape.

   

  그룬 랑나스도티르 Guðrún Ragnarsdóttir

   

  아이슬란드 레이캬비크 출신의 작가이자 감독이다. TV 쇼와 영화 관련 일을 하는 동시에 지역 영화학교에서 가르치고 있다. 다수의 단편과 다큐멘터리를 각본을 쓰고 연출했다.

   

  Guðrún Ragnarsdóttir is a writer/director living in Reykjavík, Iceland. She has worked in television and films as well as teaching at local film schools. She has written and directed several shorts and documentaries.
