• 아버지 Father 

  다빗 피르츠할라바/ 2015/ Georgia /25'07" /15세/ HD 

  라도와 동생 니쿠쉬에게는 갑작스런 아버지의 방문이 반갑지 않다. 그는 담배만 피우며 가족의 안부를 묻고는 의문의 상자를 하나 건네고 사라진다. 이후 형제는 어머니가 잠든 사이 그들의 일을 시작하고, 이미 떠나간 아버지에 대한 연민과 이해를 배워나간다. 영화적 감동과 울림을 전달하기엔 이만한 소재가 없으며, 익숙함 속의 드라마는 가끔 색다른 감동을 전달한다. 2015 로카르노영화제 단편경쟁에서 황금표범상을 수상한 작품이다. (이정진)

   

  라모나 Ramona 

  안드레이 크레툴레스쿠 /2015 /Romania /21' /15세/ DCP 

  노란 머리에 붉은색 하이힐, 베이지 트렌치 코트를 입은 여자주인공, 20분의 러닝 타임 동안 여자는 한 마디 대사나 멈춤 없이 차례로 3명의 남자를 응징한다. 과연 그녀는 왜 이 남자들을 죽였는지, 직업은 무엇인지, 영화는 전혀 설명하지 않는다. 핸드헬드 촬영으로 지속되는 롱 테이크는 총 6개의 쇼트로 구성되어 있고, 관객에게 익숙한 샹송 다리오 모레노의 ‘브리짓 바르도’ 와 팝송 바우하우스의 ‘그녀는 파티 중’은 영화의 압도적인 분위기를 더한다. 2015 칸영화제 비평가주간 카날플러스상을 수상한 작품이다.   벨라도나 Belladonna

  한 안과병원, 시력검사를 마친 사샤는 다음 검진을 위해 안약을 넣고 기다리는 중이다. 검진을 위해 잠시 동공을 확장시키고, 그로 인해 사물이 흐릿하게 보이는 순간, 그 찰나, 공감이라는 마음의 눈이 열리게 된다. 감독은 눈으로 보는 것과 마음으로 보는 것에 대한 짧은 에세이를 통해 섬세한 감성과 찰나의 순간을 설득력 있게 잡아낸다. 2015 베니스영화제 오리종티 단편경쟁부문 대상 수상작. (이정진)

   8세 소녀 아이다는 파리 근교에 사는 행복한 아이. 세네갈에서 돌아오길 고대하던 아버지는 어린 아이를 안고 있는 젊은 여성과 함께 집에 들어오는데...... 엄마를 힘들게 하고 괴롭히는 존재만 사라지면, 이전의 화목함과 평화가 다시 올지 모른다는 어린아이의 천진난만한 관점과 여성 감독으로서의 자전적 경험을 바탕으로 한 탄탄한 시나리오는, 영화를 막장드라마가 아닌 화해와 공존의 새로운 해법으로 조용히 견인한다. 2015 토론토영화제 단편경쟁부문 대상을 수상했다. (이정진)

  다빗 피르츠할라바(Davit ？Pirtskhalava)
  Born in 1987 in Tbilisi, Georgia. Graduated Tbilisi Shota Rustaveli Cinema and Film State University, faculty of screenwriting (master’s degree). Davit is an author and co–author of several short and Feature-length films’ scripts. Father (Original title <Mama>) is his first work as a director. Father(2015)

  

  두브라브카 투리치(Dubravka Turic)
  Dubravka Turic (born 1973, in Zagreb, Croatia) received her MA in film and TV editing from the Academy of Dramatic Arts, University of Zagreb, in 1998. She is an editor, director and screenwriter. Dubravka has edited over twenty feature, experimental, and animated films, and over two hundred commercials. Between 2000 and 2009, she also worked as a screenwriter for several popular Croatian TV documentary serials. The short fiction film Belladonna is her first film, for which she claims full authorship as the writer, director and editor. <br>Belladonna(2015)

  

  마이무나 두꾸레(Ma？mouna Doucour？)
  Prize-winner of the scenario's competition Hlm sur court, Maïmouna realizes in 2013 her first autoproduced short film, Hide-and-seek, Mother(s) is her first realization accompanied by a production company. It is about a movie inspired by her personal experience, the subject of which is the upheaval of a child confronted in the polygamy. <br>Mother(s)(2015)

  

  안드레이 크레툴레스쿠(Andrei Cretulescu)
  “Somebody once said that the best way to write a film review is to make a film. I became a film critic because I loved watching, analyzing and understanding film. In a sense, when I'm directing, I'm doing the same thing.” A former film critic, Andrei Crețulescu produced for HBO Romania the first season of In Deriva (remake of IN TREATMENT) and nine original documentaries. In 2011 he launched Kinosseur Productions. After producing the feature film Killing Time (by Florin Piersic Jr.), Andrei wrote and directed Bad Penny and Kowalski, the former winning the Best Short award in Zagreb IFF, 2014 and the Best Director and Best Actor (Andi Vasluianu) awards in Lille European FF, 2015. His third short, Ramona, won the Canal+ Award at La Semaine de la Critique at the Cannes IFF and the Best Short Award (ex-aequo) in Transilvania IFF. Andrei has just finished his fourth short film, Seven Months Later, and he is currently preparing his first feature, Charlton Heston, a project presented at Connecting Cottbus 2013, New Cinema Network – Rome 2014, Transilvania Pitch Stop 2015, Crossroads – Thessaloniki 2015 and Les Arcs Coproduction Village 2015. <br>Bad Penny(2013) Kowalski(2014) Ramona(2015) Seven Months Later(2015)
