영화의전당

금년 아랍문화제의 일환으로 시행되는 아랍영화제는 작년에 이어 올해에도 서울과 부산에서 개최되며, 레바논, 모로코, 아랍에미리트, 알제리, 요르단, 이집트, 카타르, 쿠웨이트에서 온 다양한 영화가 상영됩니다. 영화 상영과 더불어 다양한 프로그램을 통해 아랍을 만나는 시간도 준비되어있습니다. 영화의전당에서는 6.20 ~ 26 동안 사우디아라비아 <수잔 바아길>의 사진전시회가 아랍영화제 상영관 앞에서 개최됩니다. 아랍영화제를 통해 국내최초 혹은 아시아 최초로 소개될 아랍영화, 함께 진행되는 강좌, 사진전 등을 통해 아랍으로 한 걸음 더 다가가는 계기가 되고, 이를 통해 보다 직접적으로 아랍문화를 체험하는 기회가 되기를 바랍니다.

This year, 2014, is the second consecutive year that the Korea-Arab Society organizes the Arab Film Festival in Seoul and Busan. Films from Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Morocco, Qatar and the UAE will be screened at the Arab Film Festival.

In addition, other various programs are prepared for the general public to discover the Arab world along with the film screening. Furthermore, a photography exhibition of a famous Saudi photographer <Susan Baaghil> will be held in front of the Busan Cinema Center, the venue for Arab Film Festival from June 20th to 26th.

Please come and enjoy the Arab Film Festival as most of the selected films will be shown for the first time in Asia. In addition, other programs, including the lectures and photography exhibition, will take you to the new cultural horizon.
